1. Who we are

LaserNest is provided by Cliff Evans, trading as LaserNest, 21 Darnley Avenue, Horfield, Bristol BS7 0BS, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at cliff@lasernest.co.uk. These terms apply to your use of the LaserNest web application (“LaserNest”) and the lasernest.co.uk website.

2. Our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

3. Your account

You need an account on lasernest.co.uk to use LaserNest. Keep your login details private – you are responsible for activity on your account. One subscription is for one person or business; it may be open in up to two browsers at the same time.

4. Subscriptions and free trial

  • LaserNest is sold as a monthly or yearly subscription, at the price shown when you subscribe.
  • New customers get one free trial of 7 days. During the trial everything works except saving nested sheets. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and the first payment is taken when the trial ends.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. We will tell you in advance of any price change, which applies from your next renewal.
  • You can cancel at any time from the My subscription page. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • If a payment fails, access continues for a few days while the payment is retried, then stops until it is paid.

5. Refunds

Subscriptions are non-refundable, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. Please see our refund policy.

6. Using LaserNest

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use LaserNest for your own work or business while your subscription is active. You may not copy, resell, share access to, reverse engineer or try to get around the access checks in LaserNest. LaserNest and its content remain the property of Cliff Evans.

7. Your drawings

Your drawings are processed in your own web browser and are not uploaded to us. You keep all rights in your drawings and the files LaserNest makes from them. Saved files carry your account email in a comment so that copies can be traced.

8. Check before you cut

LaserNest is a tool to help you lay out parts. Always check nested sheets, cut order, sizes and machine settings before cutting. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for material, machine time, parts, damage or business losses arising from using LaserNest. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep LaserNest available and to improve it, but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features; we will not remove core nesting features you have paid for during your current period.

10. Ending your access

We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, for example if a subscription is shared or resold.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
